Women-Only Swim Hour for Muslims Makes Waves on Campus {ParentDish}

Nov 11th 2010 9:15PM Even if there were a miniscule amount of "difficulty" in setting aside this hour, would it ruin someone's life just to be nice about it? Why can't we treat each other with some respect and bend a little now then. Here's a thought: Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Oh, wait, we're Christians! We would NEVER want to do THAT!

Buildings You Have to See Before You Die {AOL Travel News}

Sep 7th 2010 6:04AM Before I die, I'd rather see the pyramids at Giza and the ice hotel in Sweden. For instance, the Tate Annex is a tall tube. Does THAT dazzle even a little bit?

Sep 6th 2009 1:42AM Actually, this room does have an "Americanized" look: an American Greyhound bus station restroom look, to be exact!

The flapper hat is back {Stylelist}

Oct 8th 2007 2:26AM This is definitely a 30's - early 40's hat. Something Myrna Loy would wear in one of the "Thin Man" films. I love it!

Forbes list of coolest kitchen gadgets {Slashfood}

Mar 7th 2006 12:13PM "Amen" to how wonderful the jar opener is! In the past, I've been completely unable to open certain jars. Never again. This opener works on ANY jar in two seconds with absolutely no fuss or muss. I do advise that you purchase the model without the can opener attached. The can opener gets in the way, can sometimes cause drips, and generally makes wiping down take longer. Worth THREE times what it costs.
