Tourist Attractions Around The World: Fact vs. Fiction {Gadling}
Apr 11th 2012 9:44AM This is well worth the wait. A great piece of architecture, nice restaurants, and a wonderfu view of Paris.Only downer were the soldiers with M-16s at each corner of it.
Tourist Attractions Around The World: Fact vs. Fiction {Gadling}
Apr 11th 2012 9:41AM My wife and I saw the Mona Lisa in 2000, before it had to be distanced from the public due to idiots. I was not impressed by the paiting, though the rest of the Louve is amazing. It is now in a room with the paint "The Festival at Cana", by far a more moving piece of art.
Peyton Hillis: 'Every Team' Made Fun of Him for Being White {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 21st 2011 1:02PM I find this very interesting. If it was the other way, there would be protests that they are prejudiced....hmm
9-year-old Forgotten at Chicago Airport {AOL Travel News}
Jul 28th 2010 9:12AM This is not surprising at all. United has the worst customers service of all the airlines I have flown, and I have flown them all. I was with my aged father running a few minutes (less than 15) late from a flight that they delayed and they refused to wait for us on a copnnecting flight even thought the flight before gave us the gate to go to so we could get there as fast as possible. Needless to say, I will not fly with them again!
BCS National Championship 2009: Thom Brennaman Forces Mute Buttons to Work {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}
Jan 9th 2009 6:24AM I can handle Tebow. You cannot control what people say abut you, but Brennanman got where he is because of his fathers's coat tails. Marty is one of the best. I've listened to him since his days as a minor league announcer in our area, but his son has always been over the top to compensate for his glaring lack of talent.
How to down a pint in a real Irish pub {Gadling}
Dec 29th 2006 3:34PM Went to Ireland for the Ryder Cup this fall. The Ryder Cup stunk but the Guinness was great. Drank it (or should I say sipped it) at the brewery and it was definately better there then in the States. Ireland has a love of beer; Guinness is the most famous but there are many a great beer on that lovely island!
Best Cities for Families {Gadling}
Mar 6th 2006 5:07PM I am so happy to see Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Newport News as #2. It is certainly #1 in my book. I have raised my family here, and plan to spend the rest of my life here. It has nice weather (all four seasons, just not to any extreme), close to big cities, yet close enough to areas where you can also get away from it all.
