Jun 1st 2010 2:33PM I agree with those who say their stylists could use manners, too. That constant cell phone chatter, the inattentivness to what you want, and not what they THINK you ought to have when you are the one paying for the cut. If they want to give me suggestions, fine, but it is my choice to have my hair cut the way I do. After all, I know my hair better than they do!!! I had a woman trim my hair once who decided to give me a layer cut without asking me first! And I have had to fix bad hair cuts more times than I can count!! And yet, I always tip 20%.
Manners, listening, and respect works both ways with your stylist!!
