Nov 26th 2010 8:24AM The Child support system needs to be overhauled because as is, all a womean has to do is is get a mouthpiece go to court everything she requests is given to her , but there is no way of monitoring whether the children benefit. I've given 2 homes to my ex's and still had to pay large child support fees and everytime I'd get my kids they were in need of the most basic things because their mothers had'nt bought them anything. Now the courts need to take the Blame also because all they are interested in is making sure any gov't money that's spent be retrieved from whoever's working or paying child support usually the man. I've been to Family court in California showed irrefutable evidence that I had custody of my kids and be told that because the mother had been awarded custody initially I'd still have to pay her child support. Now how crazy are those Child custody laws

Jun 14th 2010 7:46PM Although some of the comments are right on point ,how do you compare military service with OTR.Having served 6yrs in the USMC during VIETNAM and having driven OTR for the pass 6yrs these are different environments. I beleive these guys do a heck of a job transporting to areas that need products and because of a certain recklessness survive. God Bless our Military and the Truckers. I'd like to try that ice road driving, got any info how to get started?

Apr 8th 2009 8:24PM It really depends on how you view President Obama's statement did he mean the Austrian People or as suggested the non existent Austrian langauge or just a refferal to the dialect in that part of the world.Also it's about time someone suggests that America has had major flaws internally, I know a lot of folks would respond what occurred centuries ago should be laid to rest but as an African American Veteran it affects minorities on a daily basis the racism that is still existing in this great nation

Jun 24th 2007 3:32PM Too many women attempt to lock men down by having babies, and then get support from the legal system to make sure they get paid. don't get me wrong these children need to be taken care of , but a lot of grown ass women make a living by having kids that they've conceived specifically to either try and keep the man or just get his MONEY. Somewhere at sometime women need to be more responsible ,and maybe by making both persons pay into a fund for the child will cut down on a lot of this stupidity. As of now even if a man pays child support more than likely you'll see the mom decked out in the finest and the child still in need
