Census: American Dream of Home Ownership May Be Gone for Good {AOL Real Estate}
Oct 9th 2011 8:36PM I agree with you Chris...I bought my home in 1997 and it was already an older neighborhood with many of the original owners still living in them. Well when the housing bubble was so tempting to sell, many of them did sell. A house that originally sold for 14,000 in 1963 were selling for 212,000 dollars! Well many poor people who couldn't afford these houses bought them and well now their occupied by 2-3 families. I can't believe the trash they'd brought to the neighborhood! Cars up on jacks, trash just thrown around the yard. The sprinkers in the yard was the first to go, now dead lawns everywhere. Trash in the streets from their kids thrown from cars. We've had 2 MURDERS on my street within the past 1 1/2 year now and I'm so mad at myself for not selling 5 years ago. I think this kind of degregation is happening everywhere in the USA so I wouldnt' even know where to go. It's like the movie where the rich take off in a space ship to leave all the poor and dieased behind. If I wanted to move to a nicer neighborhood it would cost me at least 300,000 to buy a home. I recently bought my first gun for self defense....I hope I'll never have to use it.
Census: American Dream of Home Ownership May Be Gone for Good {AOL Real Estate}
Oct 9th 2011 8:26PM Well here is the catch to owning a home today. If you have a job and can pay the down payment and have ok credit then your way ahead of the game. What they don't tell you is how much property tax will cost you, how much home insurance will cost you. These two hidden cost sometimes cost just as much as the house payment alone! So if you rent you know your rent will always be set price. If you buy then the price can fluctuate in price. My home insurance went from 587.00 per YEAR to now 2500 per year due to the hurricanes we have here in Florida. That's increased my homepayment 200 per month alone! My property tax went up from 500 per year to 880 per year so that increased my payment 31.00 per month. Right now it's WAY CHEAPER to RENT than it is to own...so if your looking to buy...SAVE SAVE SAVE then buy as soon as you can because interest rates are super low, house prices are really low. Trust me the market will turn around...it always does. We probably have 4-5 more years before the market turns and you dont' want to be caught without a house or stock. Good luck everyone and keep working and putting money in the bank for that great purchase!
Chelsea Handler Admits Abortion at 16, Loathes '16 and Pregnant' {PopEater}
May 25th 2011 3:58PM What's funny is people say abortion is a choice, well isn't getting pregnant a choice too? People say getting pregnant was a mistake....no it's not it was a choice...a dumb choice to not be on birth control...to not make the guy wear a condom...or to have sex at the age of 16 to begin with. I get tired of people not taking responsibility for their choices and then using the word "choice" for their own stupiditiy. It's time America grows up and start putting shame on people for their stupid choices.
Chelsea Handler Admits Abortion at 16, Loathes '16 and Pregnant' {PopEater}
May 25th 2011 3:52PM It's funny people say it's a choice...but it takes two to have a baby. If the girl chooses to abort then people say it's her choice, but it totally leaves the guy without a choice. Personally I would like the courts to say if they agree with "women's choice for abortion" then women shouldn't collect child support for having kids. I know it sounds totally stupid but if you've ever had a woman choose a abortion over having a kid and you never had a sayso in the whole thing then you'd totally understand how I feel. Personally I don't care what anyone does but it's all about money in the end....which to me is pretty sad.

Lady Gaga Releases Country Version of 'Born This Way' {The Boot}
Mar 26th 2011 11:44PM Country? Only because it's got a whiney guitar playing and they slowed it down....ha ha that's so funny. It sucks...but then it started sucking once Shania Twain got into country.
Nirvana's 'Hormoaning' EP Getting Rereleased on Record Store Day {Spinner}
Mar 26th 2011 5:43PM Man I sure do miss listening to new stuff from them. It's a shame Kurt killed himself. Just his raw talent and F the man attitude was enough reason for people to want to listen to them! The country hasn't been the same without people to stand up and just rock out and have freedom of speech anymore. Seems everyones a follower and no leaders! Nirvana was definately a leader in the music world.
Bank of America Customers Hit With Yet Another New Fee {WalletPop}
Feb 24th 2011 6:58PM The reason people don't use Credit Unions is because they have a strict policy of who can use them. Either you have to be military or a teacher or part of a union of some sort. I don't belong to any group other than the poor struggling pay check to pay check group. Believe me if I could I would join a credit union but can't because I don't belong to the "socialist" class of people it seems.
Bank of America Customers Hit With Yet Another New Fee {WalletPop}
Feb 24th 2011 6:54PM I had a friend that used Bank of America.....he told me they actually charged him to go to the inside teller to do any kind of transaction. He said they told him it was because they were trying to encourage people to use the ATM machine. I told him he was stupid for even using Bank of America.
