Dec 13th 2012 9:20PM I'm surprised your doctor let you fly at 8 months pregnant. Most won't after 7 months. Or isn't that the only part of your post that's not quite the truth?
Dec 13th 2012 5:43PM I'm appalled at how rude some passengers are to the flight attendants. I have always treated them courteously and have always been treated that way in return. You reap what you sow.
Nov 19th 2011 1:40PM My husband and I stayed at several hostels during our last visit to California and they were delightful! We especially liked the cozy cottage in Cambria and the Victorian mansion in Sacramento. Next time we're going to Hostel our way along the coast, staying in hostels that are former lighthouses. BTW, we're in our 60s...
Apr 22nd 2011 9:38PM Actually, there's nothing cheaper than Mickey D's and other fast food places (I hesitate to call the restaurants.) I doubt if millions of people will stop going there because they raise their prices a dime or a quarter. That's inflation, buddy. Besides, what's the alternative? Oh yeah. You could eat at home...
Feb 23rd 2011 12:12AM I see lots of women with small boobs, and darn happy. It seems that only American men are hung up on big chested women. Look at women from other countries. Theirs are normal size. Most women's breasts are B or C, enough to feed a baby -- their intended use.
Jan 26th 2011 3:19PM Whenever we're in Key West (twice in the past 5 years), we always go with a B & B.
Sep 30th 2010 8:44PM Michigan is listed #2 of where not to retire. Good to hear -- so all you outsiders, don't come. We enjoy the longest shoreline of any state, pristine clear water, and the Upper Peninsula is among the most beautiful in the nation -- with virtually no crime. Sure it gets cold in the winter; most of the U.S. does. Because of the relatively low cost of living, we go on vacation to the warm places. BTW, most of Michigan has NOTHING in common with Detroit or Flint, Of course, every state on the do not move list has plenty of small towns and rural areas, too. This bogus list was probably made up by some yuppie who's never been to most of the places.
Sep 13th 2010 5:23PM What a stereotype, lumping all students in Ohio and Michigan as skippers. The large mojority of students are responsible about being where they are supposed to be, so don't project your own problems with your kids. My two daughters NEVER skipped school (and neither did their friends) and I know that for a fact becasue they had perfect attendance except for a few days when they were home really sick.
Aug 21st 2010 7:36PM That is correct grammar. In this case, "passenger" is is an adjective modifying the noun "items." YOU should be sure of your statement before you criticize someone else. (I am sure of my position; I have been an English teacher and editor for 40 years... what is your expertise?)
May 29th 2010 12:37AM You got it. I think Warren/Billy are one and the same -- and both personalities are seriously warped.
