Hotels That Serve Glorified Prison Food For Breakfast {Gadling}
Aug 18th 2012 8:52AM Bitch, Bitch, Bitch. Is this the best you can do?
Yes amenities are built into the cost. If you don't take advantage of them, that's your choice. But the price isn't going to be reduced because of what the "free" amenities. That's the way businesses operate. Sometimes the "free" breakfast will be up to your elevated standards, sometimes they won't. If you don't like it, suck it up or simply go somewhere else. It's your choice.
p.s. As a frequent business traveler I've actually had some pretty good "included in the price" breakfasts. But then again, I'm not expecting a regal buffet for what I'm being charged for the room
Greek Outcry Over Kraft's Athenos Ads: Hummus and Hookers, Oh My! {WalletPop}
Mar 2nd 2011 2:03PM Funny or not, anyone with half a brain should know that it's going to generate a "negative" reaction, & that's not what marketing is about, particularly when the add is directed at those that are most likely to be offended, i.e., women who do the shopping.
What Are the Best and Worst Company Logos? {AOL Small Business}
Oct 11th 2010 12:03PM The article should have shown the "Old" and "New" side by side for comparison. However, to suggest that the Coca Cola (Coke), Kellogs, or Mercedes logos don't work, or that they are the "worst" logos, ignores reality and experience. Instead, it substitutes an individual's faulty perception of what should be. The worst of the worst Logo failures all came from those in the industry that thought that they would be "better" and a screaming success. What would make us think that these opinions are any better?
Army to Court Martial Officer Who Doubts Obama Was Born in U.S. {Politics Daily}

Letterman Owes Palin, Flight Attendants, Women in General an Apology {Politics Daily}
Jun 11th 2009 10:07PM Letterman lacks the class and smarts that Johnny Carson had. JC was smart enough to keep his politics & political bias out of his routines, despite his political leanings. People stay up & watch late night comedy to be entertained, not to listen to the host's political views. Carson recognized this & the public loved him. Celebrities, and Letterman in particular, just don't get it. Viewers watch to be entertained not have their beliefs ridiculed. Letterman & others would be wise to remember "shut up & sing"..., but then again, no one ever accused them of being wise, rich perhaps, but not wise. Good night Dave!
