Nov 5th 2009 6:23PM I think it is very remarkable that a team manager who's team has just won the World Series is sober enough to drive himself home at that hour of the morning! Kudos to him for obviously setting such a great example. Of course, his risking his neck to help the accident victim is laudable too. But it was his sobriety that prompts me to comment.

Oct 30th 2009 11:40AM I used to be a fan of Leno at 11, but if NBC wants to save its line-up GET HIM OFF THE AIR NOW!He's just not funny anymore - maybe he's not given the A team writers or whatever. Plus Southland was a good drama that they cancelled because the 10 o clock slot was occupied by Leno. Of course, I thought SOuthland was fine at 9. Who knows they were just being cheap!

Oct 29th 2009 9:35AM This is ridiculous. I can understand the benefit of rules for uniforms in general, but something this minor should not rise to the level of a disqualifier. Maybe now that this has happened someone will agitate to have the rule changed. I feel so badly for the team and I hope there is an appeal process.

Oct 28th 2009 5:00PM To the people on here who say this guy should have gone beforehand, I hope they find themselves in the same situation some day. They often have coffee and even beer stands at departure gates and one has to get there early and sit around. Then if you board and you are left sitting on the runway for an hour or more (happens more often than not), it is natural you will need to go. There has to be some provision, but there's not. I was behind someone recently on a flight cross country who asked the attendant and she said no, you can't - we were two steps from the loo at the back of the plane. SOmeone else walked down the aisle and she stopped him too. This has become ridiculous!!!!!!!!

Oct 28th 2009 4:50PM When I read the headline I thought the episode had shown him urinating on the portrait on purpose. But the scenario as described is nothing like that. As someone pointed out, this is situation comedy and the "It's a miracle!" propensity of some pious people has been widely made fun of in the past. Also, Larry David had fun at Judaism plenty of times on Seinfeld and even on Curb. Recall the episode when he introduces a dinner guest as a Survivor?
I'm Catholic by birth only, but I think adults need to lighten up.

Survival rates for most forms of cancer have increased dramatically over the past 40 years (contrary to her claims. Sources :NEw England Journal of medicine and American Cancer Society. This woman is irresponsible and I pity the poor naive souls who might actually decide to take their medical advice from a former sit com and thigh exerciser-plugging starlet.
