787 Dreamliner: Clearing the Air {Gadling}
Jul 9th 2007 2:39PM I love this plane. Can't wait til I get a chance to fly on one.
Why Trains Suck in America {Gadling}
Jul 9th 2007 2:35PM That is an interesting point. Our train system and infrastructure is horrible here in the States. Interestingly enough, I never thought of the airlines contributing to this mess although it does make sense. We really do have way too many interest groups that keep preventing us from getting anything done.
Southwest Airlines to Offer In-flight WiFi? {Gadling}
Jul 9th 2007 2:32PM Sounds like Southwest is finally trying to catch up to Jetblue. But it sounds like this is going to cost money. Who would actually use it? Jetblue doesn't charge for their TV. If Southwest wants to regain popularity and get some buzz, they should offer free wifi.
Work for a Year in New Zealand {Gadling}
Jul 9th 2007 2:28PM I love how they call it a scheme. Makes it sound very shady. Also I love how they have a stipulation that you can't use the permit if you're going into "commericial sexual services". Obviously, they've thought it through.
Japanese Airlines First to Install Bidets in the Air {Gadling}
Jul 9th 2007 2:26PM Wow. That is slightly disturbing. I have never used one of those either.
Hand spray bidets? How does that work??
Photos: First 787 Has Left The Building {Gadling}
Jun 27th 2007 4:25AM Looks like a beautiful plane. And the cabin photos (not pictured here) are stunning.
Questionable Hotel Rug Patterns {Gadling}
Jun 27th 2007 4:23AM That could definitely be true that hotels use complicated and busy looking carpet to hide dirt and dust. But that one above is too much. It actually makes me dizzy.
The Price of Gas Around the World {Gadling}
Jun 27th 2007 4:22AM I really think these diagrams should be shown to more and more people. Americans need to realize that we do have some of the cheapest gas prices in the world. We are very lucky, perhaps spoiled. As gas prices in the states go up, perhaps we will grow to be more like the rest of the world and drive more fuel efficient cars.
Newark Airport Spa: Layover Bliss {Gadling}
Jun 25th 2007 3:13PM That is a great idea. Do they have these kinds of services in many other airports?
Eating Bugs in Chicago {Gadling}
Jun 25th 2007 3:12PM Have any of you eaten bugs before? Any comments? Feedback? Because looking at that picture up there kind of made me want to throw up a little.
