Theh same situation occurred in my marriage, the husband having several affairs, one of which was from the beginning and lasted til the end of our relationship and marriage. I knew it all along but made nothing but excuses only because my thinking was 'why would he want to get married if he wasn't ready to settle down'. It took me 15 years after our divorce to forgive, but I will never forget. He trashed me, his family trashed me, and they still do it to this day, and none of them speak to me. It's the kids who suffer in these situations. She's absolutely right in saying that her ex should grow up and apologize for destroying a family. The only thing worse, I would think, would be to have all of it displayed to the public. I'm glad she's able to put pen to paper and get this off her chest. God bless her.

As far as the public getting all googly-eyed over their friendship, give it a rest. All of us know that what goes on at this young age rarely lasts, and if it does, then it's pretty much what's meant to be. Just sit back and enjoy the music.
