Huge Delays for New American Passports {Gadling}

Jun 8th 2007 3:22PM Keep in mind- this is the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT doing this. Most sources (like the above) have been misrepresnting this as a requirement to get INTO Mexico, Canada and the Caribbeen, which is COMPLETELY FALSE. AMERICANS (and Canadians and Mexicans) NOW need a passport to ENTER or RETURN to the USA - not to visit the other countries of North America.
