Why is it that New Orleans can come back from YEARS of loosing, where even their fans were wearing paper bags over the heads, to win a Super bowl and no one was yapping about THEM not being a real team. Why in the hell doesn't Atlanta get any respect?? Ridiculous.

Nov 30th 2010 2:08PM Please leave Pit bulls out of this. I own two, and am FAR from being a violent person. However, I do LOVE football! As for drugs, those are prevalent in EVERY sport, hell even in high schools and middle schools. The players who should be banned are the ones who trash talk and instigate. This altercation is what transpires from that trash talking. You can call that violence if you want, but I call that being checked (kind of like being spanked)!! lol

Nov 17th 2010 9:09AM @amroddy ~ this took place in Michigan, which is FAR from the southern states. I live in GA, and say what you want, but majority of the time, the Confederate flag is used as a display of hate. Period. However, I think the teacher should have diffused the situation and allow those children to state their beliefs, but at the same time make sure they understand that their beliefs are their own and should not be pressed onto others nor should your beliefs be an excuse to hate others.

Sep 2nd 2010 4:02PM My dogs mostly go on my property in the back on the natural area. You probably don't understand the neighbor's frustration because you don't deal with dog feces in your own yard due to the lack of a fence. I also think the neighbor might have overreacted, but you don't know what she has encountered before. It may not have been a huge thing until someone else started letting their dog go there and not clean up after it.
To avoid this, curb your dog or let the dog go in your yard. Now urinating is a little hard to control. What I tend to do is while we are passing neighbors houses I am doing intentional directional walking to where they do not have time to sniff around to find a place to go. Whenever we get to my subdivisions common areas is when I let them go. I also always clean up after them.

I have a Pointer/Bull Terrier mix that does that SAME thing!! I swear if it weren't for those Deer that come right up to our door at night she wouldn't dart out the door every now and then, nose to the ground completely engulfed in finding that.... rodent. lol I use a Halty/Gentle Lead on her for almost 2 years now and she still cannot walk without pulling. With the Halty on she will walk right next to me where I can allow slack of an L on the leash as it should be. After reading your stories though... I think I am going to enroll her and my 8 months old APBT in classes. Thanks for sharing!

Look, all the money ESPN will get for sponsorship and commercials during the hour long special will go to the Girls and Boys Club of America. IMO, if he is milking it for what it's worth and then giving it away I am all for it. That gives the man character in my book! Oh.. and I just don't see Kobe giving away money. If you don't care, don't watch, it's that simple.
