Apr 25th 2013 5:10PM This is the most arrogant thing I have encountered in quite some time. People want me to finance their vacation? Let me think. No. I happily donate my hard earned money to worthwhile charities to go to people who need it. A vacation is not the same as clean drinking water, or cleft lip repair. You want to make a movie of your vacation that you think anyone wants to see? Earn the money yourself.
Then again, if I was part of a married couple of age, I would not be asking mommy and daddy to bail me out either (especially a second time). I'd be home working in my chosen profession and saving up for a vacation on my own dime.

Oct 18th 2011 3:34PM This kid is really young. Way to burn bridges, Mr. Funny Guy. Hope you have another job lined up because you're going to have trouble explaining what you've been doing the last 3 1/2 years. I appreciate the sentiment but this has nothing but trouble written all over it.

Aug 10th 2011 5:10PM Uh, the title of the article says creepiest statues in New York City, right? Well, the sphinx statue is in Suffolk County on Long Island, not NYC. Route 30 is somewhere in Western NY State. Valvo's Candy is on the coast of Lake Erie. So 3 out of the 6 of your "creepiest statues in New York City" are not in the City. Would have been easier just to say New York State.

Dec 29th 2010 5:59PM Living in Las Vegas, I can say that there are some people on vacation who let their brains go on vacation also. How else to explain people walking across the Strip or Downtown outside crosswalks and/or against green lights, climbing over pedestrian barriers and ignoring the bridges, etc. It may be intoxication in some cases but I think in the vast majority it's just from sheer lack of awareness.

Jul 22nd 2010 12:09AM I'm not sure I entirely understand your comment, Mimi. Are you comparing black Africans to unevolved animals? We are all animals. Do you think this wouldn't have happened in the USA? Have you ever heard of canned hunts where animals are released to be hunted in a fenced area having no place to run? The animals hunted include big cats. How about internet hunting where a guy set up an animal in a cage and people sitting at a computer could shoot it. Humans are not nearly as humane as we should be.

May 19th 2010 12:07AM Scott, don't apologize for showing what TSA refuses to show to the flying public. Everyone needs to see what TSOs are seeing everyday before whole body imaging becomes primary screening at every airport in the country.
