The Country's Biggest Tourist Trap: South of the Border {Gadling}
Jul 18th 2011 6:34PM Nice. That sounds like fun.
Back in the day, say early to late 60's, this place
also was the only place to play slot machines on 95.
The Casino was the building in front of the first
sovenier shop. It was kinda neat as a kid of 12 with
the family and reading all of the signs that led to and from
the place.
A great marketing tool at the time. The most effective billboard
campaign I ever saw.
Today, it is a relic of things past. Something to
make fun of apparently by someone who did not
bother to look into the history of things odd, and out of
the ordinary. Pitty.
Saturn dealers approach the end of the road {Daily Finance}
Oct 9th 2009 9:17AM Well that is just what was expected. GM's responsible for it and as usual, shifts blame to everyone else.
Total mismanagement again, and now, a loss
for many American auto workers and customers.
Early last year, I saw the writing on the wall and then
I designed and started selling a product that solves the faulty GM PASSLOCK at www.GMPASSLOCK.com .
It works to correct a problem that GM will not/can not
recall. & now more than ever, Saturn owners will need it.
This of course is good for me and my business sure,
but I need to vent here! As an AMERICAN, I am ashamed
at how this all washed out. More American business gone to incompetent management. :>(
It boggles the mind how GM dangles the jobs of so many employees in front of them, then pulls the rug out last minuite. Like Snoopy pulling the football away just as Charlie Brown tries to kick it, it's bad form, bad business and VERY Bad planning.
I hope another company see's the value of keeping the doors open at Saturn. This vehicle's sales methods and practices were sound. The parent company and it's leadership were not. Unfortunate.
Apple iPhone reviewed: How the iPhone scores in usefulness and coolness {BloggingStocks}
Jun 7th 2007 3:27PM Gonna buy one too. But point of interest, the Motorola Q can also zoom web pages.
Cons: not the best voice recognition system/dialer
(LG is better) and battery power is crap.
But I like this iphone too. Want it. Must have.
