A Canadian in Beijing: Shannon's Wings {Gadling}
Jun 13th 2007 12:08PM You pay beautiful hommage to your friend Ember. I've very recently mourned a very, very similar date. He lived for hawks, and I noticed on that day several soaring above my head in what should have been far too much city for such beautiful creatures..
We don't alway understand choice, but I make effort to believe there's wisdom in it. With your memories and your music and your passions you surround your friends memory with beauty and relevence, she is surely smiling and grateful :)

A Canadian in Beijing: Summer Ice Skating {Gadling}
Jun 3rd 2007 5:25PM Sounds like such a good time. The heat is peaking here in Ottawa some days, nothing sounds more refreshing than flitting around on the ice, leaving cold handprints and taking away a chill. Having just moved to Ottawa from good old Kingston I'll have to remember to take advantage of the canal and all it has to offer this winter! Enjoy the remainder of your travels :)

A Canadian in Beijing: First Official Concert in China {Gadling}
May 30th 2007 3:25PM What a relief it must have been to sink even for a few hours into the familiarity of performing! Your chinese may still be developing but you years ago mastered the art of communicating through music and show dynamics. I envy the thrill of all who got to enjoy the the magic and energy of you on stage! Congratulations on what looks like a smashing success :)
