Hot Weather Substitution: 2-3 polos, 1 nylon short sleeve

No matter where I'm going, I'll probably always pack one oxford. But in truly hot climates, I'll substitute short sleeves for long. Polos (layered over polyester tees) are just as versatile as oxfords, and they look good riding the rails or drinking champagne at a museum opening. My North Face nylon short sleeve is my shirt for Happy Hour, and is never not in my bag. 05/02/09
