Bachelor Gulch is a Beaver Creek skiing community which looks exactly like a miniature village you'd see in a shop window at Christmastime. The highlight of this opulently "quaint" settlement is definitely the Ritz-Carlton. You can ski right into this hotel, which has a chairlift right on the property, and stay in one of the 180 rooms and suites (95% of which have a mountain or valley view) or hang out in the Vail Valley's only Mobil 4 Star spa. For the true connoisseur, the only room to stay in is The Ritz-Carlton Suite, which features a private balcony with panoramic views, private office, foyer, fireplace, walk-in closet, and even a butler kitchen for the dining room which seats ten (with a separate service entrance, of course).
