A rainy night

About 6.5 million people attended this year's Oktoberfest but the city's mayor said he was concerned about a rise in alcohol-fuelled violence. The thirsty visitors from all over the world consumed 6.1 million of the one-litre 'Mass' glasses of beer, a rise of almost five percent compared with last year when the festivities were two days shorter.
