Although there are no permanent residents in Antarctica, the continent has a lot to offer in terms of unique wildlife and landscape. Considered the coldest, driest and windiest continent on average, this ice desert is home to many cold-adapted organisms, like Rockhopper penguins, Adelie penguins, killer whales, Leopard seals, Weddell seals, Wandering albatross and more.
