I understand your frustration, I really do. But you should have made some research before going there. I am a costarican and I know for sure that if a ferry departs at 11, I should have tickets for that one already secured at least 30 minutes before 11. Notice I don't say get in line 30 minutes before departure, but to have them on your hand 30 minutes before. You live and learn, don't let such a situation to ruin your trip, you should have forgotten the incident before arriving in Santa Teresa. Enjoy life and let go of those things.
