BRAVO for including food trucks! They're really becoming an integral part of SF's culinary identity, and it's important to keep them going and incorporate them into the rest of the food culture in the city.
For those who may not know (potential visitors), there's been some real kerfuffles, to put it nicely, in regards to the legality of food trucks. Restaurants are incensed that their competition doesn't need to pay rent on a permanent space and there are some politicians who proposed a bill that would ban the trucks from 80% of the city's streets! Luckily it got struck down. Food trucks are a fantastic option for entrepreneurs and we should support them. You can read a little bit about the recent controversy here: http://localtastesofthecitytours.com/blog/2013/02/food-trucks-good-meals-on-the-go/
Then when you're on vacation, ask your food truck vendor how it's all going! They'll be delighted that a visitor knows a little bit about the local news beat.
