I have a slight stutter to my speech and when I get nervous, tired, or upset, my stutter gets worst. I was trying to add my trip to my Delta Skymiles program. As most of you now, you had to do a lot by computer voice. First few questions I was able to say without any problems. I think question #4 was "what month is your departure?". I tried to say April, but it took like nine tries and computer said something like "we will come back to it. Question #5 "what month is your arrival back or something like that"? As you are laughing now, it was April. And since I was getting mad, the stutter was getting worst, the computer could bot understand me during the nine or so tries. Finally after about 45 minutes, the computer told me that me that it was sending me to a representative. Well guess what, after waiting like 5 minutes of music, i had calm down down to the point that my speech/stutter was back to a good point, I had a lady that was from Asia and she could not understand me and i was not stuttering. I was able to email a co-worker of mine to come to my office and she spoke for me and the representative could not even understand her. I finally gave up. Sent Delta a letter, never got anything back from them. Since them, I try to avoid Delta as much as possible, but living in Georgia, it is hard to not go through Atlanta due to a cheaper ticket(s).
