This guy is amazing! Well done on the piece to Kraig Becker. In answer to your question, Kraig, I'm absolutely with you on savouring the journey's experiences with extended stays in every locale possible.
However, it's also admirable of Mr. Graham to accomplish all this in as little time, with as few scuffles, and in keeping with all his goals to boot! He kept his "no flights" principles in tact along with his charitable fundraising and publicity goals for WaterAid -so all-in-all, I'd say his world travel was a smashing success!!
