We all know that this happens every four years so the only thing to keep one from going would be perhaps the person who won or lost.
I always stay, it is a standing reservation, at the Hay-Adams. I appreciate the design of the hotel done by Mesrobian. I like the location and I really enjoy their Sunday brunch.
DC is a wonderful walking-around town and it still retains a bit of a "town" feeling rather than the large city it has become. It is easy to get around, and to navigate. To stand at the Jefferson or the Lincoln late at night gives me a great feeling.
