Nice article. I'm also a grandparent, but know little real information on this kid. I hear many love him/hate him comments from my grands, but never thought about his upbringing .... sounds fairly normal now that I read this. The first time I saw him was on Disney, singing a very sweet little song that I couldn't for a million dollars tell you the title of ... thinking at that time what a cute little boy! I still have no idea what he has ever sung that I may have heard, but he makes a lot of kids happy and that's all that really matters. Thanks for a good morning read with my cup of coffee.
