Adventure Travel Tuesday Is Where The Extreme Action Is

The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) is a global membership organization of more than 800 businesses and destinations, and host of the 2013 Adventure Travel World Summit in Namibia. ROW Adventures began as a whitewater rafting company and now operates adventures around the world in 17 different countries focusing on water adventures. Now the ATTA is encouraging adventure travelers to gift experiences instead of things, via ROW Adventures Adventure Tuesday sale.

“When you receive material items for the holidays, the gift of experience definitely stands out,” explains ROW Adventures founder Peter Grubb. “It allows you to experience the gift together – a shared memory far beyond what a material gift can offer. Our goal is to connect people to the places we visit, strengthen relationships, and enrich lives all along the way.”

ROW Adventures started Adventure Tuesday in 2009 with adventure travel deals on a whitewater rafting, a multi-day rafting adventure on the Salmon River, and a tour of the Galapagos Islands.

ROW Adventures has new deals that could include trips like yachting in Croatia, sea kayaking in the Galapagos or whitewater rafting in Idaho. This year’s Adventure Tuesday event will include new deals, but the exact details are being kept secret.

Sneak-peeks have been sent out to ROW’s Facebook fans but spaces on the Adventure Tuesday offerings are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Subscribers to ROW Adventures e-newsletter will find out on Monday, November 26. Adventure Tuesday starts at 9 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
