OMG, Build a city under sea level and it will get flooded. Abandon the area, or wait for this to happen again and die......
I mean when you build next to a volcano and it erupts and kills hundreds, is there really a surprise? it's like jumping off a 10 story building, repeatedly, and hoping for the best.

You are obviously not from New Orleans, Robert. There isn't another city like New Orleans anywhere. It is a national treasure as are the people it produces. Spend some time there & learn how life is meant to be lived & people are to be celebrated.

New Orleans wasn't under sea level when it was first built. It's a city that is sinking mainly due to the levees and other flood control methods put in place to prevent a river flood. Try reading a history book once in a while.

Not all of the city is under sea level, jackass. The original neighborhoods, including the one i live in, are above sea level. People eventually started expanding the city and building homes and those are the parts that flood. Do some research before you sound like a dumbass. Or just be a dumbass.
