It's nice to see kids the world over aren't much different when a camera is pointed at them. That photo at the top is what we imagine. Journalism does look for the conflict, it sells news, and I'm not surprised that individual tours are not allowed. It's great that some, like Gadling and it's writers, try to show us that other side of the people and the country.
I do look forward to seeing more of the Iraq we never see in the news. I hope you have lots of photos.
