Having just returned from my first vacation in 5 years(mostly because traveling isn't fun anymore) I flew out American Airlines with a change in Dallas to another American Airlines plane and although I am larger than I should be, I am not huge, nor do I spill over to other seats, but, these planes are to close together and too narrow for a flight exceeding 4 hours. Coming home I flew Delta, with a change in Georgia to another Delta plane. same number of seats, but a little larger and infinitely more comfortable. seats. The Airlines have been forcing more seats in the planes for years and we have just taken it. They also have eliminated all food with the exception of pretzels or nuts which many have allergies to. They charge for movies, charge for luggage, charge for headphones to listen to music and increased the seat prices. The other person who mentioned that the attendants are rude may have been a bit overboard, but, they are certainly not interested in making the flight a pleasurable experience. This goes to first class as well. Ask someone who does a lot of traveling if the first class experience is indeed "First Class" If my family didn't live so far away, I would never fly again.
