this has always been a problem its just recently the airlines are saying you have to buy an extra seat .the sloution is remove the seats and add bigger seats all the way around even if you are small which i am the seats are not comfortable period regardless if someone next to me is heavy or NOT.and as far as the small people paying good MONEY as they put it to be comfortable so does the heavier people they PAY the same amount so why should they be treated diffrent and have to spend MORE money then an average size person ?if the airlines would stop being so MONEY hungry and just put the over sized seats in to begin with everyone would be happy and not target people that are of size not everyone has a eating problem my son at 5 is a diabetic and hes overweight next there going to be saying he needs two seats at 5 years old it really makes me sick people act like there spending a week on there flights and need the seats to be beds with a pillow and blanket when the average flight is no longer than 3 hours .

Awesome concept! Patent it fast and take it to the Shark Tank show. They do this at the ball bark what an excellent idea.
Only problem I see is that you would have to qualify or everyone would want the larger seat.
