David , the modern Marco Polo and very well written by the way. Having travelled on a Hajibaba bus from Kabul to the Iraqui frontier (1966 & 4days )and being the only western.Having ones Passport past around and being made to sleep in the street while the others get to have a lodging then getting back on the bus early AM the next day ,brought back wonderful memories.WELL DONE .
