Fiji was a great experience for me. I witnessed several kava ceremonies, but did not partake (apparently not good when you have giardia). One ceremony was closed to women tasting, but not watching. Others were open to whomever. I thought to post a bit about kava in a Fiju entry in my own travel blog (http://debralynnfeldman.blogspot.com/). Why? A kava bar opened just near me - in the US. How about that. Planning on checking it out. Thanks for sharing your experience.
