Photo Of The Day: A Monk In Bhutan
This Photo of the Day, titled "A Monk in Bhutan," comes from Gadling Flickr pool member arunchs who tells us:
"I photographed this monk at an institution in Paro, Bhutan.
I probably had no more than few seconds to capture his posture and his slightly inquisitive expression. I framed and shot this real quickly.
It was evening time well after sunset, and there was very little light. I was shooting with Auto ISO and wasn't sure if I had a clear image. The ISO for the photograph showed 3200, which made me wonder if the image is all grainy. I quickly zoomed in and checked and was very surprised with the outcome. The photograph is easily good enough to make an 8x12 print, perhaps even larger."
