Exactly what type of traveler are you? Perhaps you're an "Urban Explorer" or a "Discoverer?" Maybe you're an "Individualist" or some other type altogether. Marriott Rewards has launched a new Facebook app entitled "What's Your Travel Type" that is designed to help us discover our personal travel style. Throughout the month of August they're not only inviting us to play the app, but they're giving away some great prizes to those that do.

The game asks players some simple questions in regards to their personal preferences when it comes to travel. For instance, do you prefer to go by plane or would you rather hit the open road? Do you like to stay relatively close to home or is an international destination more your speed? Once the questions are answered, the Facebook app will inform you of your travel type and offer to enter you into a contest to win a trip that is most suited for your personality. I was informed that I am an "Urban Explorer" for instance and was given the opportunity to win a trip for two to Madrid and Toledo, Spain, which included airfare, hotels, spending money and more.

Other prize packages include similar travel options tailored for the "Discoverer" travel type. Those players whose personalities most reflect that style of travel will be eligible to win seven night stays at Renaissance hotels in Barcelona, Paris, Puetro Rico, Miami, New Orleans and Chicago.

The contest will run until the end of the month and players can enter multiple times giving them a chance to win more than one trip. If you're lucky you could be off to a great urban destination on Marriott.
