Liked the story, like it or not some people have no problem appearing naked in public, to each their own. I don't think children should be joining in on these activities until they are one day mature enough to make that decision on their own. But , country's like Crete this seems to be a part of their culture, therefore it is not viewed as perverted, dirty or disgusting , only by those who take it offensively. And if you have never been exposed to this relaxation in the nude, you will feel uncomfortable! It would not bother me because I would realize it was the norm for these area's, but I would personally prefer a bathing suit! But that's just me! I would not view them as Perverted (Richard) unless they were acting in a perverted way.....Kinda like you and your statement of Kids & Puppies! Put your anger into issues of saving children from abuse, and you will make a Difference in this Life.......... And the Life's you could Save!

Actually, kids don't usually have a problem with it; people have to learn to be uncomfortable with nudity. I still remember when my sister was little and went through her streaking phase. I just thought it was hysterical.
The few studies that have been done show that children raised in nudist families are less susceptible to eating disorders, and have a higher abstinence rate than the average population (though I suppose the latter could be a sampling bias, since nudists also tend to be wealthier than the average populatio - I don't remember what they controlled for).
