While I agree with the gist of this article as it never ceases to amaze me the stupid things that people believe, I have to say I find his comment of "or another group of people were too stupid to take care of themselves and needed to be enslaved", offensive & ill-informed and just outright stupid. Slavery has shown up throughout all of world history, (not just here in the USA as some people like to pretend), and I am pretty sure that was not the cause of slaves being captured and forced to work. Maybe this author should keep going in his quest for information.
