Study Reveals What Travelers Want Most When Flying
There's been a lot of talk lately about customer satisfaction and future plans for air travel. To help get to the bottom of what fliers really want, Skyscanner surveyed airline passengers and asked them. The findings showed:
- 20% of travelers want capsule-style bunks on flights
- 18% would like to see soundproof sections for children
- 8% hope airplanes will soon have kick-proof seats
- 1 in 20 people surveyed said they wanted transparent floors and ceilings for better views
- 4% of fliers want a singles section, where they could potentially connect and flirt with a future partner
What do you hope is in store for the future of air travel?

I must admit sound proof areas for kids sound great. also i believe its time for government to step in and intice or bully which ever works to lower costs and fees

More leg room & more comfortable, non-reclining seats

None of these choices are paramount with today's travelers...the want cheap seats with First Class service...you can't have both.

I would love to have at least one of our carriers go back to what Western Airlines was in the 50s and 60s. That was very close to first Class coach. Quality food on china. Attentive service by young beauties, large seats and so much leg room you didn't think about it.

We all have to admit that flying is not the most comfortable. Sooooo, why does it have to be so crowded???? If you are by a window, it is very hard to try to get out as you hate to bother the other two people that you have to go over. Yet, they say when you fly that you should get up and stretch every hour....not always so easy, is it? More leg room is really needed. When boarding the plane, they should start with the back rows and work towards the front, exiting the plane should be front to back rows, I really think that would work better instead of everyone trying to get on or off first. That way you would not be in each others way. Good food for thought I think. Thank You........

I'm with you! Excellent post. More BASIC comfort please. Wider seats, more leg room. PERIOD. Everything else is negotiable. I don't need luxury. Just the BASICS.

1 free checked bag and one free small carry on (Purse or computer that fits under the seat). This will expidite boarding. Charge for 2nd bag and overhead carry ons. Travelers who are on vacation need a checked bag. Also, one free non alchoholic beverage for each 1 1/2 hrs of flight.

how about being able to put valubales in your suitcase and not have something stolen. I travel with camera equipment There is no way I would dare to put in my luggage. Why is it there is NO security in baggabe are or when bags are loaded on the plane, How do they get out of the airport with out a security check

how about a seperate section for the thrill seekers with lay down seat, sound proof capsule style bunks so people be able to achieve their mile high experence. travel will be lot less stressful, people coming off the plane will have that glow to them. what great advertising, fly the friendly skys. a person get out of hand subdue him and secure him in the capsule then have a drink afterwards.

I would love for bigger seats, I am tiny and I find the seats small and there is no leg room and I have short legs. I feel really bad for the tall men who have no leg room at all. I would check my bag if it was free, i have to shove everything into a small bag just so I don't have to pay the expensive fees. I feel like cattle on the plane. Also the food situation is terrible, at least when you had the meals you got something to eat, now if you don't have time between your flights to get food you sometimes go all day without eating and the food choices on the plane are horrible and expensive.
