This AOL link stinks!!!!! I expected a follow through from the lure on AOL's homepage and ended up with nonsense. This is not the first time the link either went nowhere or the info was not provided. What a waste of time not to mention the annoyance!!!!

Did you open the gallery? There was a little information on 15 different cool natural formations in the captions of each picture. I now know stuff I didn't. Clearly you couldn't be bothered to look.

I agree, what the heck is aol's new's page good for. It use to tell the whole story on what U seen right there. Now U have yo go to another sight, & tell U nothing about what U wanted to read about. WAKE-UP AOL & stop giving us the run-a-round. Just print the whole darn story we want to read about right there on our screen's ---we are sick & tierd of Ya'lls B.S. pages.

They forgot Vasquez Rocks, Natural Area Park is a 905-acre (3 km²) park located in the Sierra Pelona Mountains, in northern Los Angeles County, California. It is in the Agua Dulce vicinity between the Antelope Valley and the Santa Clarita Valley north of Los Angeles and seen easily by motorists driving the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA 14). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasquez_Rocks
It has been used in numerable films and commercials, such as Star Trek (Kirks Fight with the Gorn) as one of the most well know I can think of.
I have been there, its impressive.

The way its done is 1000 or so people bid $.50 or$.49 or$.39 $39.99 etc. etc. and soon they have $500.00 give or take a little so when there are no more bids you bought a $250.00 gift card for your husband. Now all the people that bid must pay up and the company now has made umpteen hundreds for a $250.00 gift card. Slick deal huh, So keep on buying more bid tokens you'll soon pay more the retail costs...............................Understand now?
