There are a lot of great travel apps that perform a function like providing directions or helping find something to eat. One thing I learned while traveling on business for DISH is that a little entertainment can come in handy at unexpected times. I have the DISH Remote Access app which allows me to stream my live TV channels and DVR recordings almost anywhere I go. Most recently it saved some of my sanity during a winter storm. In February I got stuck at Denver International Airport during an especially heavy snow fall. Without some TV to pass the time I may have gone insane.
