Hopefully the manager actually follows through and talks with the employee. The worst experience I had was when my backpack had to be hand searched -- the TSA kid (looked barely a day over 18) decided that he need to individually inspect my liquids by unscrewing the caps on the shampoo and conditioner to verify that's what they really are. He then elected to only half-screw the caps back on (which I didn't realize at the time) so I ended up at my destination with everything in that bag covered in shampoo. :/
