Video: Scenes From Greater Yellowstone
Last year cinematographer and photographer David Stubbs spent a considerable amount of time in the area working on various projects. He compiled some of his footage into the video below, which serves as an excellent two-minute example of what makes the Greater Yellowstone region such a great place for travelers. The video features snow capped peaks, time-lapse images of geysers, sparring moose and so much more.

Most people aren't aware of the almost unbelievable deals that they can get from penny auction sites. I know I found the best site, http://tinyurl.com/TopBargains and I am regularly saving hundreds of dollars on things like iPads, gift cards, and smart phones. I got a $200 Best Buy Gift card there for $33. I did all my Christmas shopping there and I spent less and get more than ever before.

Also take the drive down along the Tetons towards Jackson Hole. Best mountain scenery you will ever find. Jackson is a fun little town.

If you want Spectacular, just wait for the Magma chamber that's been over 600,000 years in the making to burst. Maybe that's what the Mayan's were talking about for December 2012! And maybe not.

Yeah man, that's not just a lil' ol' volcano in Yellowstone but 3 combined calderas that when they blow will send Earth back to an ice age. I hope 2012 isn't the end though. I got lots more people to tick off, a disease to beat & a bunch of things I'd like to do before 'the fat lady sings.' Anyhoo, when Yellowstone's calderas give way, it's going to be awesome (in the most serious meaning of the word.)

Cool, I never knew that steam could "go back into the ground (22-26 seconds). Otherwise a good little video. There is more to Yellow Stone then what is on the well trod path.

Ditto the Word!!! U Know.........it's apparent the end is close at hand, how close is anyone's guess, but surely possible within my lifetime! And K-71 you're spot on in your assessment of the "Ice Age thing"! We're talkin' a million cubic miles of earth will literally vaporize into ash and smoke blocking out the sun globally for years to come! A Nuclear winter to say the least.............the rest I leave to you.
