How to cross a river in Australia
Here we see what looks to be a Toyota Land cruiser making its way across deep waters, seemingly oblivious to any danger. We're betting they had a snorkel device of some sort for the exhaust and maybe weights in the back. One thing they surely had on board: a lot of guts.

Snorkel device? Well duh! It's right there on the side of the vehicle. Right by the hood.

Lol at the dude who wrote the info on this video. You need a snorkel on the intake side which he has as Patrick pointed out. You don't need one on the exhaust side guess the writer has never seen a boat motor running in water before.

Owners manuals commonly do not include instructions on how deal with these perilous situations.
Here we go... now all the manufacturers will CYA by hiring a lawyer to come up with warnings for their owners manuals. Of course the consumer will pay.
Have you read a manual lately...
"Fill with gasoline.
*** WARNING: Gasoline is highly flameable and you should not smoke or otherwise cause sparks around this volatile liquid. Failure to do so could cause significant harm or even death."
Well duh, If you don't know gasoline is volatile then maybe you're not smart enough to DRIVE A CAR! You know all these inane warnings in the owners manuals aren't free. I'm sure they add hundreds to the cost of a car.
