Congratulations Kent! I've been reading your blog for years now and I'm so excited that you are finally a captain! I think it is obvious that you made the right choice. Something tells me you're going to find some unexpected things about the MD-80 that you really like. And if you happen to upgrade from the MD-80 to the A319/321 in the future, that is going to be so cool and such an interesting learning experience. Also, please don't stop taking pictures! Just because you won't have a beautiful backdrop of European streets or sandy beaches in your photos doesn't mean that I won't be looking forward to them! Enjoy your new adventure and keep sharing it with us here!
