after reading about these places i find money the root of all the problem. be it, the leaders of the locations being corrupt with money or money for fighting rights to sell drugs to america are driving factors. such a shame.

To me I don't think it's always a money thing, you can pour all the money into any of these countries you want and it will eventually go back looking the same b/c you haven't changed the people, their greed, the violence, the drugs, the corruption in the governments. Mineral-rich Kinshasa (Congo)is a good example here you have a country that could have had hope but with all of the greed and "men's hearts", you really need to change the people from within, then you will see change

Keep in mind...money is NOT THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL...greed is the root of all evil ..and unfortunately...you can't change that. Please don't blame the money.
I have lost a lot of faith in man over the years...It's just in them to bully, fight and control. Very sad that they need to be violent. Look at all the top selling video games. No matter how perfect their lives are, they still will find a reason to start a fight. It's a sad need.

Money is a good point, but you've got it upside down I'm afraid. Look
at the money trails in Congo, which "Laurie" mentions quite
interestingly (and cluelessly, sorry Laurie): the whole history of
Congo since its independence reads as a shameless provocation of local
antagonisms by international mining corporations (and American ones
prominently among them), with the eventual sponsorship of a strong
local leader (e.g. Mobutu). Lots of the greed involve is not local to
start with, it's our own: where's our pension money coming from? Are
we investing responsibly? Are we consuming responsibly? In what hotels do we go when we travel? As I happen to know several of the countries mentioned in this list, reading the comments here feels like looking into our abysmal schizophrenia ...

The bible say the love of money is the root of all evil, but your comments were right on.
