Interesting article ...
I learnt it the hard way when we travelled with our pooch to Yellowstone (what was I thinking !!!) ... Most of the trails were off limits for pets ...
Cheers,
Madhu

i did the same thing... took mine to a state park. the campground was okay with dogs and that's all i checked out before i left. i just assumed that if the campground in the middle of the park was okay, the park was too. however, no dogs were allowed on the trails... what are you supposed to do? i can't leave my dog in the car, the campground by herself and we were miles from anywhere! always good to check! also, get a kennel cough vaccine. i never did this because my dogs are never boarded. no one told me they could contract this anywhere! now they get this shot regularly.
