It is a fitting tribute, on Lady Liberty's 125th Anniversary, to have the hardy participants of Occupy Wall Street "standing watch" a few miles north, across the harbor. If Lady Liberty could talk, I'm sure she'd tell them: Thank You..for keeping the torch of liberty burning brightly; Thank you..for helping to renew the freedoms and ideals upon which this great country was founded. She'd be proud!

Lady Liberty would shed huge tears of shame. The immigrants who came through Ellis Island were looking for, and willing to work for, a better life. When our ancestors came here they signed their name as soon as their feet his American soil, and specified how they were going to earn their living. My great-grandfather was a grocer. Those losers occupying Wall Street don't want to work; they just want to keep sucking the government - that's you and m!. Occupy Wall Street participants obviously do not have to report to a job every day because someone is heavily subsidizing them, and that's all they understand - being supported.
