That is the WORST picture of smoked meat I have seen! There is NO WAY Schwartz would serve a turd like that in the picture.
People, just do a Google image search for Schwartz Deli Montreal. Once you have done that, book a flight to YUL and come and have a sandwich or two. If you are here during the week, you NEED to hit up Wilensky's on Fairmont.

I agree! You can find a better looking sandwich at a Habs game...
If you have a little more time, make a trip to Smoked Meat Pete. If you love blues, hit them up on a Friday night. They were also voted best fries in Montreal.

I moved to Abu Dhabi 2 years ago, and i am a very big fan of Smoked meat. Only problem is, I Dont think they sell it here.

Best sanwich I ever ate and have done it many times. Montreal is world renowned for these taste treats!. Try one - you will remember it all your life -

Quality of the beef was much better and it showed.I admire for keeping their recipes for decades and this is awesome sandwich this is one of my favorite dish.............. thanks for sharing this photo
