Sean, if you want full 360 degree storytelling from Herat, you're going to need a female sidekick. Can women travel there safely? What's the experience for a female traveler in Herat, how difficult is it to undertake this adventure? You'll want to take someone who's good with a camera, is an easy traveler, and sure, those leggy Euro-blondes are attractive, but do you really want to draw that kind of attention in this part of the world? I'm thinking your travel is a lot more likely to be funded if you've got a more complete picture of the experience. I just got a new passport....
