I loved the 737 almost best of all. Only the DC3 was nicer. The 737 had the traditional "steam gauge" instrument presentation and intertial nav updatede/backed up by the traditional VORs. I could grease it on in a stiff crosswind with flaps 40. Also, with autobrakes on a 3 & flaps 40 snowy runways were no problem. You had the power to climb out of icing quickly, and the heat to deal with in when you had to descend through some in an approach.
