I've seen some crazy urban climbingvideos in my time, but this one takes the cake. It was captured on a helmet cam and follows four teenagers as they scramble up the Moskovskyi (Moscow) Bridge in Kiev, while traffic rushes by below. After a brief conversation in Russian at the beginning of the video, the teens simply begin scaling the steel cables that hold the bridge in place, without the use of any kind of climbing gear or safety equipment. Eventually they reach the top, and even climb inside the main tower, which stands some 377-feet in height.
Judging from the final shots of the video, I don't know what would be scarier. Climbing the bridge, or making your way back down.
I think that these teens have no regards for life & the parents that gave it to them. Plain stupidity!!! If one of them would have fell to their death, I bet no one on here would think that it was still brave.
Holy shit. These kids are brave as hell. ( I don't think it was in vain of life @ all more like a celebration of life) E.I. life live to the fullest. Memento Mori. Either major props does anyone know the original source for the video?? E.I. did they do more stuff like this?????
Sorry folks, this is just plain stupid. I am a retired firefighter/paramedic, and I or one of my fellow firefighters would have had to risk my life to rescue one of these kids if they got stuck, or panicked once they reached the top. It is not always the daredevil who pays the price for their risky behavior.
Some people like to live a little and don't intend to hurt anyone or themselves. And quite frankly, if they didn't, you probably wouldn't have had a job to retire from so I'm not sure why you are complaining. I'm sure they knew they'd be facing the law if they did get 'injured' doing this but they look fine to me.
some one up to climb the golden gate bridge with me? ahaha at least they're risking their own life for entertainment, unlike with shootings and robberies where unvoluntarily people are killed!
Now some of you folks know what construction workers do everyday and thats why they get paid more than college grads. Hey these 4 kids made a commitment and followed through on a daring mission! I think all 4 should go into astronaut training asap!
So is this another One of those Trends we can add along with "PLANKING, OWLING, SPIDERMAN'ING, PIGEONING, COYOTE'ING, and BATMAN'ING"................BridgING
It's sad to see so many people here who are offended by someone else's actions. If you don't like it, DON'T DO IT YOURSELF! Problem solved.
What they don't realize is that when people try to enforce others into not doing something, it makes a lot of young people want to do it more. If everyone else and their grandparents won't let them be who they are, they're just going to break right through that barrier by doing something rebellious. Probably for the hell of it. So all of those offended can whine some more.
When they're like 30, they'll be all like remember the time...duuuuuude there is no fuuuuuuuuuuckin' way we did that...Yuri has got the video cuz...WHOOT, WHOOT
I have to say I am amazed at the comments of people who cheered or approve these actions. Do you people have any common sense? Has anyone taught you right from wrong? You are obviously not parents. Did you at all consider the other ramifcations that these kids did not think about. How about if they fell, or if they could not climb down. The local authorities at great expense would have to be involved. The heart break that the families would experience. Also what of the drivers passing by. What if they saw these kids climbing and naturally taking their eyes off the road for a second caused a major wreck taking other innocent lives. These kids should be in jail. I compare this to these stupid daredevil kids who drive cars at rediculous speeds here in the US. Sure its OK for them to be"cool" but when they lose control and take other lives how "cool" is it then?

One of the teens had on sandals! The most daring/reckless out the bunch.
